Nestled on the shores of Tulalip Bay with expansive views of Puget Sound, this outdated waterfront home was transformed into a modern farmhouse retreat for a retired couple. Through a full main-level renovation, we reimagined the layout to improve flow and efficiency, incorporating thoughtful storage solutions and practical spaces that maximize the breathtaking views.
A massive, outdated brick fireplace was replaced with dual-sided custom cabinetry-creating a stylish TV wall with storage on one side and extending the kitchen with a coffee and wine bar on the other. The kitchen was modernized with custom cabinetry and optimized storage, while the mudroom evolved into a functional hub with built-in cabinetry, a utility sink, and ample storage for outdoor gear.
In the primary suite, we repurposed unused bedroom space to expand the en suite bathroom, designing a luxurious retreat with a spacious walk-in shower, separate toilet room, and refined modern finishes.
With a fresh palette and high-quality finishes throughout, the home now exudes a warm modern farmhouse aesthetic that delivers the comfort, functionality, and serenity the couple envisioned for enjoying the beauty of Tulalip Bay.
